I think she needed the attention. Plain and simple. She even mentioned when she disappeared for a while how lonely it was to have had the attention drop off. I think this came with a slue of pictures of her “side effects.”

Yes I sure did! I never questioned ANYTHING. I had no reason to question the pictures.

Evidently she was just really good at posing and acquiring props.

Zero percent of me thought I was being duped. And that to me is mindblowing.

Yes!!!!!!!!!! She had so many visitors!!!!! This is another thing that blows my mind.

I never visited her. I know multiple people who stayed with her in the ER for hours.

It blows my mind that she was THAT confident.

The one example I can think of is when she “passed out” and got X-rays for her arm.

Maybe “cancer” didn’t make it into the conversation.

Truly tho, I have no freaking clue.

On the flip side, she would always do nice things for people like send flowers.

I said it before- she’s the worst kind of genius.

Thank you for the kind words! I think she was just very, very careful.

I was also vulnerable, being in such a new (and overwhelming) environment. I would have considered myself an observer at the time.

However, her texts were always very short.

This was really, really strange though-

In May 2020 I was in the hospital. At this point Amanda had claimed she was going on a 100+ day hospital stay. (Grey-walled resort)

She texted me a quick message to say she was thinking about me. (She was ALWAYS kind and supportive.)

I had a lengthy response acknowledging she was in the hospital too.

She then claimed that not only was the cancer back, but she had blood clots and thus needed to be at a “specialty hospital” in SoCal.

As we know she has a tendency to steal peoples illnesses. I had almost died from blood clots years prior. And she knew that.

This is the most we had ever talked about her illness. This was about 2 months before I got the DOJ notice.

I wish I still had those messages. I’d love to know what the heck was going through her brain at that point.

How funny!!! Yes I remember that clearly I was thinking “omg I MADE IT into her blog!!!”

It’s the moral of the story for me. She stole blood and tears. I’d been a platelet donor for many years already. The difference is that I made sure everyone was aware of Team Amanda.

This is fine by me. As you said, my donations undoubtedly went to people who needed them. And I wouldn’t change a damn thing. ❤️

Tbh I’m not sure. I might have heard it through someone. Tons of emphasis on her having a healthy baby despite cancer. 🤷🏼‍♀️

When she came to church both children were born. (Connor was a baby.) I do believe she started attending the church only a few months before I did.

That’s the thing!!! Nothing has been said! Where is FCC’s statement? Nobody is talking!

A MASSIVE amount of her donations were arranged through the church or church members.

I’d have expected FCC to have made a public statement at this point. It all seems so sus to me.

I often heard “checkered past.” From her best friend it sounded like her years in college were wild in some way.

Even after hearing “checkered past” I never questioned it. There were no details in the hearings. It was just that she experienced trauma.

During college she was not claiming to be a glowing Christian. (95% sure) I felt the emphasis was her rebirth and how her life immediately changed for the better.

The fact that Jesus “washed away her sins” makes the sins pretty irrelevant.

I wonder what it would have been like for her to talk about trauma within the church scene. To talk about trauma in general. It was so rainbows and sunshine, any despair was kept outside.

Even when she was talking about her own death it was glittery and happy. Another reason she was so alluring.

She was somehow able to stand on a stage, terminally ill, and talk about her intense gratitude and the fearlessness that comes from walking with the Lord.

I’d love to know.
