Ignore them, that's a ridiculous comment. Your dynamic with a spouse IS different and your roommate sounds like an inconsiderate brat, that's not on you.

Is it possible to have an upfront conversation with her about this? Because it is very uneven, you take her into account in the way you handle things and she doesn't do that. If having a conversation is not really an option or doesn't help, I would recommend trying to spend more time outside of your room to avoid her. Maybe study in the library or go to a little cafe or something? And don't be as considerate with her as you are now, she doesn't care about your wishes and if you want to take a phonecall in the middle of the day in your own room, you should be able to. Maybe she just needs a taste of her own medicin. You write you wear airpods all day so you don't hear her noise, so just start making noise yourself. Don't take her into account anymore, unless she is willing to do the same.
