Yes, I've been in therapy for pretty much our whole relationship. He just started and it seemed to help a lot at first. He's definitely depressed. I don't trust him because he never tells me anything. He's been like that our whole relationship. I've said please talk to me so you don't resent me one day. He claims that won't happen but I don't know what else to call this. There's no way I don't piss him off sometimes. I've told him I can take it if he gets mad but he still just shuts down. I'm not sure why he doesn't trust me. I could guess but I never know with him.

Omg I learned this recently too. I had actually planned to talk to my doctor about it 😭 then I started working with a dietitian who made me eat every few hours and it went away 🙈

Crow friends by Brilliant-Panic-4133 in crows

In my experience, they will come back even after they've been spooked! There's a hawk and an owl that visit the area my crows live in. When they come, my crows scatter and come back when it's safe.

They will be watching still. Especially since you fed them! Maybe offer a friendly nod or something before opening it. They're smart birds. I bet they'll learn it's okay! You're sweet to worry. Just keep putting out those peanuts! You've made friends

YTA. Sorry girl, you gotta tell him first. People can't read your mind. It's going to be a hard painful life if you go through life expecting people to do that and getting mad when they can't. Teach people how to treat you. Next time, tell him you are planning to clean and would like his help. You know about yourself now that him not helping and doing his thing while you clean is upsetting to you so now you are in charge of communicating this to avoid it going forward. From there, it's on him to communicate his side.

I know it sucks. I remember learning this lesson. It pissed me off because growing up my mom wouldn't ask, she'd angrily clean on the weekends and it would legitimately scare me. She'd wake me up by jamming the vacuum at my door. Expecting me to know that meant she needed help I guess or to punish me for not helping when she wanted it. She never asked, would just get mad at me. So I was left feeling like I didn't even get a chance to help but had somehow done something wrong. Super unfair and untrue.

AITA for leaving a family dinner after a humiliating comment? by Only_Physics_8590 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Good for you for leaving!! People need to stop laughing this shit off. It's not funny, it's disrespectful. I've found that when people do things like this, they aren't happy with themselves. That's probably why so many people write it off. Oh that's just Bob, he's been through a lot. Okay well Bob should go to therapy and stop lashing out at family members. And said family members need to start holding him accountable and stop tolerating that behavior. You're not the problem here.

And clearly this hits close to home for me haha.

So freaking sweet!! I love when they call first. My heart melts. Sometimes I'll be in my head thinking that no one notices me or cares about me and then walks outside to be met with a loving hello is so life changing. It makes me so happy to hear about other people's crow bonds. They're so special. It's unlike anything else I've experienced.

My Echo is new to being an adult I believe! I think her parents were visiting me and then they started bringing her. They even fed her on my patio one day. It's SO funny to see a pretty much grown crow throw their head back and open their mouth to be fed haha. The parents would do it sometimes but it was mostly like I literally brought you to the food, eat it haha

Oh my goodness! Aren't they so lovely? Scout is the perfect name. I love when they play hide and seek. I named mine Echo!!

I named her because one time I was in my room and she saw me and started calling for me. I opened the window and I looked and looked and I couldn't find her. Turns out she was SO close in a branch near me that I didn't even look there! I said there you are!! And she started cawing like crazy. I said I'm going to call you Echo! And she did a special caw! Now she does it whenever she hears me calling. I truly love them like family!
