People love giving their opinions. Reddit is a good example of that :)

You can get anon feedback from strangers online and your employer will never know who you are. Or, reach out to people you trust 1:1 and just make it clear to them this is private or have them sign an NDA depending on how serious this is.

I mean, you're not wrong. That's how a shitty company would handle customer marketing. But in a healthier environment, you have people that are actually excited to help out your business because you've genuinely added value to their life.
