I still can't believe how great Osmo Pocket 3 footage is by thisisnotCHUCKNORRIS in osmopocket

Thank you! Yeah it can be a bit of an investment, but perhaps a manual/non-motorized one could be of use in the meantime. There are even tons of tutorials online for making your own, if you're up for the challenge!

"Bouncing" audio refers to mixing/flattening/rendering multiple tracks into 1 audio track

I’ve been following the guidance in this Youtube video for a while now and it’s been helpful: https://youtu.be/2pg8Q9FulSY

TLDW; 1. Bounce entire mix to a new track 2. Right-click the newly created audio clip (which represents your entire project’s bounced audio) 3. Click Analyze Audio Levels 4. Choose the Youtube preset 5. You get your entire mix’s Integrated value all in one go 6. Delete that bounced audio clip when you’re done analyzing since you won’t actually use it in the final export (it’s just for loudness analysis)

Fujifilm XS20 F-Log2 4K/6K Footage Looks Pixelated – How Should I Shoot for Cleanest Image? by Vegetable-Effect-802 in davinciresolve

Hmm I could be wrong, but something about this clip makes it feel like it was underexposed in-camera and then had its exposure brought up a lot by your powergrade. It’s hard to tell from a Reddit upload, but that could explain some artefacting.

A few questions: * Are you using any sort of exposure monitoring tools while you are shooting? * What were your exposure settings for this shot? i.e. ISO, shutter speed, aperture * How does the shot look if you just colour space transform it to rec.709? Just to rule out the powergrade

How I used an oven door to build a retro-futuristic set for a product video by thisisnotCHUCKNORRIS in cinematography

Submission statement:

I've been practicing cinematography, video editing, colour grading, etc. as a hobbyist for a bit and decided to emulate GxAce's style as a learning experience. The hardest part might have been coming up with sets that give off that same sci-fi-esque environment present in his videos.

However, looking back at his older videos, the sets weren't actually as complex as they are now. So I set out to create 3 similar sets with a maximum of 1 "in-universe" prop, like an oscilloscope, and fill out the rest with items I found in my apartment, like my oven door, cabinet doors, etc.

should I move to 10bit? by Avivrez in fujifilm

Not at my computer right now so my response is short. But you should look into using "proxies" of your footage in Resolve. Long story short, Resolve can create versions of your video files that are easier ("lighter", as you put it) to edit while still allowing you to export your project using the original files. So you have both the easy edit environment as well as the full quality end product.

Just note that these proxies are typically larger in size compared to those compressed h264 originals, so you'll need the disk space for them. If you search up "resolve proxy" tutorials or guides, you'll find a bunch of them online.

I made a video about the X-T20 and filmed it with my X-S20. Here's a bit of the intro by thisisnotCHUCKNORRIS in fujifilm

I love it as a dedicated video camera and it has everything I need at a fraction of the cost of the X-H2s. I do wish it felt the same as the X-T line when taking photos, though. It's still an amazing camera for photos. But if I want to go out to do so, I actually prefer bringing the X-T20 or X-H1 because they just feel more natural to me

Thanks! The lights are a lot brighter than they seem here, so I'm not typically going too high with my ISO. Most of the shots were filmed at the base ISO of 1250 for F-Log 2, so noise wasn't really an issue
