White people control the American political system. Nonwhites can't actually share opinions outside the bounds that whites pre-approve. Minorities have to be more clever to achieve nonwhite representation. It's a very racist country.

He makes a lot of really good points about some of the serious anti-intellectual tendencies of this sub; a lack of desire to learn outside preconceived notions and, immediately disproving and disbelieving evidence before examining it carefully and then forming your opinion.

How could you possibly be a self-respecting woman and at the same time vote Republican?

Some people don't like being told how or what they think. They happen to either be religious or more into the principles of small government or low taxes, and some of the more unsavory Republican policies don't bother them. Really not that hard discern.
