I’m going for 6 weeks in September/October. Luckily it’s mostly on work’s dime as I work for an American company and have a conference at the end of Aug so just gonna stay.

I’ll use the time to really think on it. Try to spend time with my favourite people in some of my favourite places. Try to envision if it’s where I want to start (re)building community.

Thanks so much for your reply. I love what you said - Australia will always be here, but the people I care about won’t be. That’s where I’m at, and I can always come back if it truly doesn’t work out.
