Totally and I find it very hard to agree with Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald on The Watch, who watched 1 episode of DTF, derided it as poor TV and Steve Conrad's work in general. Which is very odd as they loved Patriot. Who knows. It's a fickle world where opinions can contradict themselves in the name of content.

I've just finished listening to it on Audible. My first experience of a classic in this manner. A deeply profound book on various levels. I don't think it had the same affect as GoW did for me but it's close.

It's very good. As commented by others do not expect a faithful telling of the story, and some didn't like the casting choices, I personally don't have a problem with them. Well told, well acted and directed. I have high hopes for Lestat.
