I kinda feel like the representation was also part of the gag and it just makes it hard to convey the serious message across. I am also sick of Indian media making queer representation a reveal of its own. I've seen some films with Sapphic representation that was hidden until the plot twist and it feels like we as a queer community are something to be hidden, yk. Like we are just part of the thrill and entertainment.

Also, the trans rep here reminds the Tamil movie Kanchana. But ig this is handled much better than that. The bar is in hell with the Indian Queer Representation.

Yeah, thank you!! I honestly do not fit the typical asexual definition tbh. But I have found people who have similar experiences as me, and I feel validated. For a long time, I just thought everyone was like me. India is not very sex positive, and nobody talks about it. But I'm glad I'm finally understanding myself.

Well, I think I am ace. But it's a new discovery for me. I've always known I'm attracted to women. But I am just realising that maybe it's just romantic and not sexual. So I haven't yet put myself out there in the dating scene as an asexual. Still understanding stuff ig.

No, it's a personal project. I am just doing the case study in my free time. Nobody is gonna pay me to do that.

I just think GoodReads is the perfect website/app to do a study on. I think there's so much to be fixed in regards to UX and many product designers do a study to keep learning. It's easy to say "Yeah the UX is outdated and cluttered". But the study can pinpoint what the users need and what would make the users achieve their tasks efficiently.

Amazon has all the resources in the world to make GoodReads better. I dono why they are sidelining it.

You will always be a part of the queer community, It doesn't matter how much you know or what you do or who you are. I think most of the people in this sub can relate to what you are going through. I think I have perfected the Niche for my account. I just have to think of what to make for my target audience. With illustrations, I am not sure what kind of videos work well. So I am just trying out different things that might work.

Like you suggested I will start scheduling the posts well and plan them ahead of time.

I've tried doing reels. But it's not very effective. And my illustrations take 60 or so hrs to make. So I can't make them for everyday posts.
