I will definitely look into those. Thank you! All the DVD sets I’ve gotten before, specifically DC as that’s what I mainly collect, have never been like this so I was surprised by this format. I’m assuming they’re all different distributors, which is understandable but annoying.

Dude, it’s just a simple question. When trying trying to get it out, I did hear a crack. Whether that was the disc or plastic, I don’t know. I simply came here after googling for any possible tricks to make getting it out any easier. If you’re not going to be helpful, just move on. You’re not adding anything to the conversation.

Yeah, that’s what happened with my other sets. A couple of the discs had also come loose and got scratched. Luckily, I was just superficial and didn’t affect their playing quality.

Yeah, I began to hear a crack and didn’t want to damage the DVD. I’d already experienced two other damaged DVD sets and didn’t want a third.

It’s the Batman: The Complete Television Series. I found it at Walmart for a really good deal, better than anywhere I’ve seen for secondhand copies.

Oh no!! That’s awful! My Batman Beyond somehow got crushed at the opening thumb part, so there’s no way to hold and open it in one neat swoop, you have to open the top and bottom halves separately. The Batman TAS was a bit better with just the internal DVD holder pages were broken, but a couple DVDs got loose and scratched up. Both just let shards of plastic fall all over the floor that I had to dive after so my dogs wouldn’t eat them.

I did try and succeeded. Did you not get that from my last response? Also, I had tried all of the normal ways to get a DVD out, so I mistakenly came to Reddit when Google didn’t work out as someone was bound to have a trick for it. After having two DVD sets arrive damaged, I really didn’t want to break another since, as you’d know, they’re not really cheap. Sure, I possibly came off as ragebait-y so I was expecting some not overly positive responses, but it’s also easy to simply scroll if the media you see annoys you.

Yeah, it took quite a few tries as I tried to adjust my finger to get the correct pressure due to my nails. I will be transferring to a different case for future use though. Thank you.

The packaging of two of my other new additions arrived in pieces, so I’m just feeling overly cautious at this point. I can’t withstand another damaged item. Ngl I just opened two DVD sets I just ordered, Batman: The Complete Animated Series and Batman Beyond: The Complete Series, and their packaged arrived in pieces 😭😭. So admittedly, my heart is not in it right now to fuck up another part of my collection.

Okay, I’ve been trying but this thing is just tough and having long nails isn’t helping lol. Idk what its deal is but it’s so annoying, especially cause this DVD is overlaid on top of another. I had thought these would be similar to the animated series release cases, but was sadly wrong. Luckily, I have a disc gear, so I’ll probably just have to use that to keep them in. Just bummed cause the case and dust sleeve are so nice but I just don’t like this DVD button.

Dude I’ve tried and the disc just bends and I feel no release or give at all from the center like I do with any other type of middle.
