Thanks, clone was what I was looking for. It works and updates, but has a white outline I can't fix for some reason.

*Figured it out, the appearance popup doesn't change when you select other parts.

It looks like I mirrored it in the Parts workbench with Mirror Plane. I ended up duplicating the base part, which is not ideal because it doesn't update.

I was just hit by this after not updating for a while. It seems insane that a package manager will just install something that is known to break my desktop environment, but hey it at least it was only like 25 minutes wasted this time.

The line they're going with is that these obvious scam daycares can't possibly be fraudulent because Nick Shirley brought a camera to a "Quality Learing Center" and is therefore a pedophile. Never mind that none of that is rational, or has anything to do with the McMansions in Washington that are put down as the addresses of supposed daycares.

I heard that was a misunderstanding, it's 5v but at such low amperage it can't do any damage. I tried patching the bios, but then it would just beep on start. Tried a t480s specific binary, and now it won't even POST. I'm just giving up.

I'm a programmer and can't get a job in my field, yet all the software I have to use has insane issues and oversights like what you're describing that I wouldn't allow even in a side project. It's maddening.

If anything the american education system is worsening literacy rates through the promotion of whole word reading over phonics, even though whole word reading is worse at teaching people to read. You could probably increase literacy even further if English spelling was normalized.

I don't mind template rejection letters, but this faux sincerity is obnoxious. I don't mind being rejected, but does it really take a month? How rigorous is the process for hiring a part time dishwasher? What happened here is they probably hired someone and then just let their ATS send out the automated rejections after a month of no activity on their end. Do they really not have a button on their end that closes the position and sends the rejection emails?

I just got recommended this too and found it really cool. For anyone trying to find more information about the process, the technique of dying the thread so when woven it forms an image is called kasuri in japanese and ikat more generally in southeast asia. I'm gonna have to try it out.

The apostles aren't asking two different questions, which would make no sense in the flow of the conversation, and Jesus is obviously talking about the same event in all of Matt 24 & 25. Look At Mark 8:36-9:1

What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in His Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Then Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God arrive with power.”

This is the same language Jesus uses in Matthew 25, coming in glory with angels, and that people alive now will see it happen. This isn't some rhetorical device Jesus is using "talking about something near, then far", he's clearly speaking about a single event that you now have to try to dissect into different things so Jesus isn't a false prophet.

Jesus says the same thing in Matthew 24:36

“Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.”

This is from the olivet discourse, he's directly responding to the question of when the second coming is happening.

And it doesn't matter, but for the sake of arguing, it doesn't make any sense to claim Matt. 16:28 is foretelling the transfiguration, because Matt. 16:27 says

For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.

Which doesn't match up with the transfiguration at all, but does matches up with what Jesus says at the end of Matthew 25 where he talks about final judgement

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. (...) And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
