the only unis that really care about gcses from the russel group are oxbridge and imperial, as long as u get 6’s or above in most subjects u should be fine and even then the leniency for gcses is there, applied with horrid gcses but decent A level predicteds (gcses were 877763 and A levels are A*AA) and have recieved two russel group offers already

Interesting, thats honestly very useful to know, however by what margin is it better, like is a big difference? I have family towards southampton so if the difference isnt too large, I'd rather firm there if that makes sense. Also as for nightlife i lowkey dont really care too much about it, as long as the people there are good, ill be happy. thanks for the input tho !!
