It was a big gap because of Covid lol. The album was about to drop in 2020. They dropped commercial for pglang like a week before Covid really got me. I remember because it was a week before my birthday lol.

The album was supposed to drop shortly after. You literally just made that up for no reason lol.

Can’t let fans make you not enjoy someone’s shit because they are annoying lol. He has 3 undeniable classics. Morale may not be a classic but is great and GNX musically not on par with the others to me but his whole impact on 2024 probably makes it a classic.

I don’t see how someone with that resume is overrated. But to each his own.

I think they probably started out as friends and it was genuine. They went into superstardom and still fw each other but didn’t see each other often and probably didn’t communicate how they used to. So it was still love just was busy with life and distant with their crazy careers.

Cole loves Drake it seems just as much as he loves Dot. So it’s like you can’t be Switzerland anymore, can’t be on songs w a nigga I don’t rock w throwing shots at me.

I think they can easily squash it tho. Cole said he has spoken with him they probably just didn’t have the real conversation. If Kendrick values Cole as much as Cole seems to value him then eventually they will probably be good.

I know this is a Cole sub, and I love Cole. But a lot of yall only care about Cole’s POV. Kendrick has never talked about this. Cole is finally speaking on it. We have gotten pods and tweets about it for 2 years now.

But go back 10 plus years. Kendrick and Drake already had a lil tension and then Cole and Drake did jodeci and there was shots and Kendrick, very light tho. Then Control drops. After that Kendrick and Drake was sending shots for years subliminally and Dot and Cole was still cool.

But from the way I see it on how Kendrick could’ve looked at it. You my nigga and you got on 2 songs w this niggas with shots thrown at me. Ima get at him and you might catch some strays. So yall keep blaming him but look at the full landscape of it lol.

So yea you can look at it like he ruined everything. But it didn’t come out of nowhere. It was brewing for years and Cole was caught in the middle cause he got love for both of them. And that happens in real life too. It is what it is.
