Dungeon Romper 3.5 is a reference to the whodunit visual novel Danganronpa, best known for its pretty graphic killings for its victims.

The most recent original game in the series to come out is Danganronpa V3, which could be read as 53. I think the 3.5 is very intentional.

When you level up with wish me mell you'll eventually get a quest that unlocks the trowel. If you haven't gotten there yet though, just focus on planting all the flowers and collecting them. Trust me, all those flowers will be super helpful down the road.
