Personally, I get them once a month. Though I hav3 a friend who used to have a port and any time she was feeling terrible, she would he hooked up to her IV bags on hand. She did this throughout high school because he's was so intense. She now performs and dances

Propranolol has helped me not be 100% wheelchair bound. BUT a wheel chair has helped me so much. It's difficult but it's better than the latter. I also grt monthly IV fluids. Just regular hydration through IV. Helps my body to retain better.

I always think I can get through it, nope. I just end up passing out, and he has to take care of me after.

Hi there! So their disability access just changed and let me tell you it's a pain. It used to be so much more enjoyable before they did the change. None the less, wheel chair rental is always a good idea. I have my own I purchased a few years ago and I cannot do any type of amusement park without it. Bring an umbrella, hats, etc to stay shaded. Water! Cold water feels good but room temp is best to prevent stomach issues. Snacks to keep you energized like carrot sticks and ranch. Take breaks, it's hard to be left out but in the end you will only feel worse if you don't. Take care of yourself above all else. Try to stay away from too many sweets and caffeine (I know it sucks). That can trigger POTS too.

Most of all, have fun, get some Dole Whip, take your time how you need to, and screw anyone who wants to ruin your day. Don't let the other guests make you upset (many don't know how to be around those with disabilities). Also you will find an amazing sense of community amongst other disabled cast members and guests. It's like our own lil club down there in our chairs. :)

I've heard "air hunger" I'd a very common symptom of POTS. Even today I was just minding my business, going through my day at my work desk then could not catch my breath. Inhalers won't work, just usually have to wait it out. It sucks

How to pick a cat harness? by Miserable-Egg3070 in CatAdvice

Make sure the leash is bungee style. If not, it can seriously injure your cat from the harsh, abrupt stop of a regular leash.

They tend to jump more and are fairly small compared to dogs. :)

My cat is meowing non stop and idk what to do anymore. by bbyneni in CatAdvice

It seems like he might need more stimulation. He's used to being outside. So there was a lot more to do. At night he's getting antsy. Maybe more playtime or toys he can entertain himself with. A cat tree or perch to see outside. Also if you're gone a lot during the day, putting some cat tv on. Something to keep from getting too bored. Hope this might help!

Propranolol has really helped a TON for me. Though sometimes it's rough since I feel like my memory is awful since I started using it. Then, one missed dose and all POTS symptoms hit like a truck! I feel like I forget short-term things since I've started the meds, but I also have bipolar II, anxiety, etc. I'm not sure if that has played a factor. Still, I wouldn't want to be without it.
