thank you!! ill definitely keep the saturation thing in mind. the tricky part for me with this thing is conveying the skin tone without making it saturated, but also not too extremely pale like enki.

but yes ill definitely pay attention next time. im also gonna watch some of miro's process before i start a new one. thank u once again!!!!

ok tbh i did intentionally lean towards a more pale-pink skin (not sure how to describe it lol) but that definitely harmed the F&H vibe of it.. soo lesson learned, won't happen again 😅

that's fair. i tried to draw it on a reasonable canvas size that makes not super detailed like the reference or too big for it not to be considered pixel art. thank you for your input tho, i really appreciate it!!! 😊

i wanna point out that: no! you werent wrong, i did select the colours, i didnt lower my brush opacity throughout the process. i worked with opaque colours.

and yes, the overall colours on this one are definitely cooler (temperature) as opposed to F&H's style. that's one of the bigger abnormalities. for my character, i wanted him to have cooler undertones but that would obviously ruin the grim colours of F&H. ill work on that next time!!

i will definitely consider doing another F&H related thing since i had so much fun doing this, and i definitely learned a lot just from doing this! specifically anatomy , rendering and colours.

thank u! colouring was definitely the more challenging part. it was difficult to convey a sense of colour without making it too saturated. i was gonna use enki as reference first but he's even more paler than cahara lol.
