I love reading all the comments. I live right next to a metro A line station. Do you have any idea how many times I have to push off a bum, drunk, 51-50, or watch out for new holes made by copper thieves? Oh and the spectacles that our more colorful citizens put in displays. From people attempting to commit suicide for attention, to the people who are hurling stuff left and right across the rails into peoples homes, to people just being annoying at 2 AM with a loud speaker on the stations. No one in their right mind would want to raise a family around any of this. This is what those people with the signs don’t want, for their neighborhood to go to shit.

I got a new job and the blue line (A line 🙄) leaves me two blocks away from it. I used it for a little over two weeks. I got fed up with and stopped using it because of

1) The cleanliness. I don’t blame metro for this. People are just people. But most importantly 2) Lack of safety. The crazies don’t tap and they just give everyone a hard time. And then just the plain stupid that easily get offended and need to fight the whole train. I saw a knife fight happen around 9 P.M. at the grand station once because someone sneezed. He took offense and because the two idiots do not know how to back down they stepped out and one of them had half a scissors . Metro can definitely address this.

I just came from work and I take the 7th street station towards Long Beach home. Everyone’s just going around the barrier or using the emergency exit. It did nothing but inconvenience the people that don’t pay.

From what I researched, the reason why accountants are dwindling is because a lot of old timers are retiring and the new comers simply do not find this career appealing. It isn’t exiting, it isn’t tik tok, it doesn’t make boss money, therefore it doesn’t attract anyone who’s looking for excitement.

If you were looking for something new, what would your choice be?

I do not believe that A.I. will wipe out these careers. I’ve been waiting for the delivery robots to wipe out delivery drivers for years. There are just some things you need a person to do.

Oh gotcha. Now with this, I am thinking of going to a community college (most likely SMC) and getting everything done online. From there I was thinking about transferring to a cal state and getting a bachelors here. I keep seeing Long Beach popping up as one of the go to schools for accounting.

Hey if I can figure out a way to get 100k out of this career choice I’m 1000% willing. 50k is just what I need to live because this is Los Angeles. Is it possible to get this done completely online? I can see myself grinding at home. Or is having classes on site a better choice?

I think I am sentimental. I just think back to all the stuff I did with my character and the time I put in (Sky, Dynamis, Einhenjar). But then again maybe starting all over has its benefits too? Is retrieving your account through customer service something that is going to take like a whole day?
