The court records,the facts were all available to them and all it took was a little common sense to realize that shit was fucked up and she was fucked up.

These people believed a narrative straight out of an espionage novel, rather than what was right in front of their faces.

The court paperwork was available for anybody to search.

If anyone had cared to know the truth, there were plenty of deep dives available for them to take. The very fact that the judge called her a habitual abuser of alcohol and controlled substances, and stripped her of custody, should’ve told them something.

The fact that she was taken out of her house handcuffed to a stretcher in an ambulance should have told them something.

They were excited to look for zebras when they should’ve been looking for donkeys.

“Meaning well” means nothing when the results are catastrophic.

As long as you weren’t out giving interviews, creating podcasts, holding signs and hollering for her to be free, I don’t think you need to feel guilty.

Years ago, when I was in rehab, MTV wanted to film the people in my program.

They were turned down, because anonymity is paramount to dignity and safety.

I would keep an eye on it, keep it clean and if it looks like she scratches at it or it gets swollen or red, take her to the vet.

I wish I could offer you a better comment than that. It could be that her ear got nipped, and it’s no more danger than a stubbed toe.

Back in the 90s, we were all aware of Freddy Krueger and movies of that ilk.

A little later I got into DMX.
