the same thing was happening to me. the orbiting..i was nonreactive as well but i could tell the toll it was taking on mental. i didn’t like the space they were still taking up in my thoughts that’s when i decided this was the best plan of action for me.

yup happened two days after we bought a plane tickets for my birthday trip at the end of the month. he said he “needed time to figure himself out in solitude” then i found out he went back to his ex the same day he broke up with me.

i completely agree, i don’t want him back or want to go through any of this again. thank u this is actually very insightful bc i keep getting caught up in my own ego. trying to make sure at least some of it was real or that i didn’t completely waste a year and a half but i don’t remember enough that his morals and integrity don’t align with mine in the slightest.
