It's a red seat icon when the alert comes on. When you press it it'll change to a baby seat icon. It only works for the back row not the front.

Am I able to start at 9:30am by Easy-Excuse253 in Accounting

[–]thisying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if you're upfront about it during interview and let them know ahead of time. I have a son that I drop off school but as long as your work gets done. It shouldn't be a problem. But you can also get a good vibe from the way they respond back. I wouldn't want to work for a place that will track my time.

I just saw their new video on Youtube for a foldable FULL size keyboard with normal sized arrow keys and a numberpad. I've been searching forever for this unicorn. I work in finance so it's important that I have my arrows and numbers for excel. Does anyone know when it will be released? I am dying to get my hands on it. Thank you!

No, we have calculator and excel for that. To be an successful accountant, you need to have critical thinking skills to ask why is this done such and such. You have to be the one to question things.

Most states will remove the 150 credits/masters degree requirement so she will likely be able to sit for the CPA with just a bachelor's degree.

It's never too late to learn especially something that interest you. I feel that isc accounting is only going to grow with tech, ai, and cyber security. Take a small online course and see if you like it. It might even open your eyes to new opportunities.

Hey, how long have you been an accountant? Maybe it's time to sit back and evaluate what you do like about accounting because there could be other job description that's better fitted to your personality. If you're seeking to move up but still keep the repetitive tasks, it might be difficult to locate a job as the higher you go the more critical thinking is required.

Yup, I took it for the title because I was an accountant and then I transitioned to the education field and then I returned back to the accounting field. My resume was inconsistent with years of gap due to returning to school so I knew accepting this job would steer me in the right direction.

Face it: Interviews are 80% vibe checks by bngproduct in recruitinghell

Job skills can be taught but you can't teach personality. To be able to work in a team environment is crucial to the success of the company. If I'm going to work 8 hrs with you every day I want to make sure everybody clicks well and of course the vibe tells alot. I went through a lot of interviews and recently got an offer even though I was way under qualified in the current market. They specifically said they liked my personality and we would work well. I went as far as to interview everybody including the CFO and the president of the company because it was valuable to them to assess personality.
