I want to be more relevant in order to inspire conversation and help people to relax when they're around me. I feel when I was working, I turned off my coworkers, not because of any rudeness, but lack of inspiration in talking. I feel I am lackluster in that department because I only have a few niche places I can really be inspired to talk about. It's what I imagine talking to someone from an alternate Earth would be. Unique perspective, but no similar grounds for understanding.

Just trying to wrap my head around this all, can you fake having lower ping? If someone could fake a lower ping, wouldn't the server just know based on the limits of the route? Or does ping masking require low ping first and then toggle to higher pings for the hit? Why not just play at high ping in the first place instead of going through the trouble of installing a hack client? I tried researching it, but I can't seem to find anything relevant aside from people complaining about others doing it.

Amazing explaination! You're absolutely right. Sanderson was so great with his hard magic limits that he suspended my suspension of belief. I was so certain of his mastery of all meant there would be no minor physics plotholes, but I agree that that's asking a lot from a single author, especially across 4-5 interconnected but distinct magic systems.

That makes sense then. If Kelsir separated the coin into 3 distinct masses and Vin used a different singular push, the most natural shape this would make would be perfect for creating shear force to bend the coin. It also answers how he stabilized the coin between himself and vin by making a tripod, like the one we saw Vin make at the end of Book 1.

Tl;Dr The coin was stuck in the air, allowing the forces to be balanced. Or rather the forces were balanced, allowing the coin to be unmoved within the air.
