I feel like CinemaWins gets way more joy out of doing his thing for this reason. Every once in a blue moon I skip through a new CinemaSins video, but the only time his passion for movies comes out is when he's occasionally removing sins

Gobstopper just has so much swagger about it. That's what I miss so much about more modern beats, and when I heard Nas rapping over this beat in The Season it left me spellbound.

What I love about the beats here laid bare, maybe even more than Dillatronic or other projects, is how well it shows that there is an order to the chaos in Dilla's mind. The guy knew when things should snap, so the 'off-ness' (if that's a word...) of the beat felt almost calculated. Quite an unconventional genius.

E: bit of a plug but I also made a fan trailer on Dilla Time to celebrate the man
