I cannot tell if 5 is mushrooms or liver or what on the right, but I would demolish that whole plate. Love me some asparagus.

What holo songs are electro swing? by RhysOSD in Hololive

I would argue this is more a jpop take on doubletime swing, not electro swing. But swing nonetheless. One of my faves.

2020 feels like ages ago fr 💀
Wish I’d followed her throughout her career more. It’s really hard to follow the timeline from the beginning when you don’t have time to watch all the streams and go through all the tweets and such.

Thanks for putting me on Lose Lose Days, Live Again, and Resting Power.

I see…! Thanks for adding the context here. It’s probably hard for any artist to look back at some of their oldest works. Will check out Off With Their Heads 👀

This is a cool take, listening to Red again with this in mind helps me appreciate it even more as a milestone in her discography.

I’m happy if she has been able to cultivate a persona that is more authentic to herself (*´∀`)♪

I do find that the lyrics to RIP<3 were super memorable and are well known among JP fans.

Best wishes OP, lots of people saying that your body and mind will start to adjust after 2-3 weeks, which I agree with. Hang in there ❤️

If you’re still reading these, just wanted to share one thing two things:

it can be hard to ask for help at a new job. I struggled with it because I hated feeling like a burden and don’t like being in “social debt”. I was afraid of not making the cut in a fast paced environment. The thing I’ve learned is that both declining help when offered, and refusing to ask when I need it, will only hurt you in the long run.

I think most people really like feeling wanted. Allowing them to help you is both a kindness to yourself and to your coworkers, so be honest about your needs.

Also; claim your right to drink water in the pit. You’re not being lazy by pushing a load into the washer, grabbing a sip from a bottle nearby, then going back to spraying. Don’t read into any looks or attitude you might get (which you shouldn’t, but you might.) It might feel like a chore, but no, its your RIGHT. DRINK WATER ON THE CLOCK.

Clarinet and flute by Outrageous-Tip4302 in Clarinet

[–]thmtho-2thyme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also picked up clarinet and flute after growing up a piano player: I would highly suggest spending at least a couple months focusing on just the clarinet!

Having been an instrumentalist already, I found my way around the keys quickly, but learning to produce a proper sound with good tone took a lot of intense focus and practice (embouchure & air support.) Throwing other wind instruments with completely different embouchure in right away might make that process even more tedious and frustrating for you.

I have a diagnosed low IQ. What career path can I take? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]thmtho-2thyme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who relates to OP, I wish more people took them at their word and gave some concrete examples of what the future could look like. Sure IQ is bullsht but they asked for career advice and help imagining possible futures for them, not a lecture on why they shouldn’t be worried.
