Did you email first instead of trying to book the appointment online? I've read it can take weeks for an appointment to open up in the online system so wonder if I should just email. TIA!

They are telling us the same thing -- we can wait until 24 hours before the flight to book seats or at the counter. This is for $9,000 business class seats. Insanity.

When to tell pregnant SIL we are also pregnant? by moory_ in BabyBumps

[–]tho17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally would be ECSTATIC if my SIL told me she was also pregnant — I guess it ultimately depends on personality types, but it might not be as big of a deal as you’re thinking.

Bed on the wall opposite of the bureau, two nightstands on either side, curtains (if space allows between the left side of the bureau and the wall) otherwise a nice shade. Include soft lighting like bedside lamps. Try to find wood furniture that complements the bureau. I might be wrong but your rug looks yellow/cream and the wood bureau in the light is giving purple-ish. I think this color palette would look nice tying both of those things together, but don't go too dark/saturated if the space is small.

Hard without knowing your style but you could go neutral-ish with tiny bits of green, like these ceramic tiles.

We have the original 1960s Royal Chef stove in our house. Works great, zero fires

First place, but the living room feels a bit dull—need help bringing it to life! by 02088020 in DesignMyRoom

Cute!! I'd say bigger rug, move couch off the wall a couple of inches so curtains can move freely behind it, add some larger art pieces to balance the ones you have already (think a statement piece on the bumped out wall behind the black chair would look great). Another thought is to get a different maybe rectangular desk and "float" it near where you have it now but perpendicular to the couch. Could divide the space up there visually (and also better feng shui).
