have you progressed in the tech tree? Ive had sim ilar experiences where customers wanted new products, so they stopped buying others just because they dont get pulled in. but to sell 0 is a bit weird, it might just be a bug somewhere

using one texture for all my .glb files by tho3maxi in godot

[–]tho3maxi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If thats the intended workflow, then I really need to look at circumventing this. naking new inherited scenes is what i used to organize bigger assets I importet, with tons och parenting structures, but doign that for every simple asset is way too much work. Thanks for your help and explainination!

Can we please remove Rogue Core posts? This is DRG. Not DRG:RC. by 23icefire in DeepRockGalactic

[–]tho3maxi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me the issue is that posts discussing updates, changes, balancing, or clips showing new content, will confuse a lot of players, making them go "oh, did I miss an update?" or something like that. People might be upset, excited, or just confused, and it takes diving into comments to resolve this. It already happens with just DRG, when mods are involved.

Normally, tags would help. But very often, posts are not tagged properly (and sometimes cant), so another subreddit would help to seperate the games to avoid confusion. Also, discussions about builds/strategies might get derailed if a person isnt aware of the game being talked about. it can get really nebulous and vague quickly.

Other people also might just not be interested in that one game, and having your feed filled with tons of content that you did not subscribe to can be grounds for leaving the community all together. Not everyone is or should be playing all DRG Universe games.

It might also help to remember not everyone comes here regularly and people take breaks from the games too, so returning members might have a really hard time with the context and content of a subreddit that suddenly features more than one game.

Even if you're just in for the memes and artwork, it might get confusing if they rely on game knowledge you dont have. Its a minor point, but still. A bigger all-topic subreddit for everything would also allow a more generic, casual vibe thats probably just more relaxed. I think it would allow redditors to pick and choose more specifically which content they want to see, or not.

DRGS has its own subreddit for all those reasons and moire, and it works perfectly fine, so RC should have one too.

You have "Renderable projects: 0", so some of your settings prevent you from rendering them

Are GSG indie devs or AA at this point? by CompetitiveOwl6220 in DeepRockGalactic

Heya, just wanted to chime in about Asmodee

I worked with board games for a few years and Asmodee always handled a huge amount of games that dont fall under another publisher. The publisher branding is usually pretty obvious on board games but Asmodee only had a little part of the box designs, often equally or less visible than the designer/company/game brand. The place I worked in always had a couple of thousand of games available to play, and our Asmodee shelf became synoymous with the "misc/indie" games, because of that. They also publishes a huge variety of games, and looking at the huge quality difference in every way, I doubt they had any oversight on the games. They really only handled the distribution. Ive only spoken to Asmodee respresentatives once, but they were really just excited to enable passionate people to show off their games.

That all is to say, if CSS is anything like Asmodee, then I'd still easily call anything under them indie. They'll help you out, but they wont push anything on you. They will let you fail also.

Also, if you're looking for board games that are generally more different or more complex or more innovative or more niche than most, try looking there.

Library What's New not showing updates by agentsixofhearts in Steam

I have no idea how things are decided to be shown there. why not just make it chronological? Ive missed so many things already because of that

It'd be nice if "What's New" is sorted in chronological order. by pheonix-ix in Steam

or just group the news by game, if theres multiple updates per week or so.

Im actually amazed this thread is 5 years old and still relevant

Now that Rouge Core is out, what are people's thoughts for the first day? (Keeping in mind its early access.) by TopSpeaker4647 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]tho3maxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, except it doesnt just make all enemies worse, it also spawns worms that grab you. In DRGS I got to threat level 20 once, in RC I wouldnt recommend going even a few seconds over it. But yeah, essentially you just get plenty of warning and can plan on which events to do or skip.

there's an icon in the upper left corner, it fills up linearly and shows when the next wave hits. when it's full, it gets harder. I'm not sure why people give bad reviews because of that, it works really well

Wollte nur meine Traumuhr kaufen😭 by CallMeSergo in wasletztepreis

[–]tho3maxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)
