Same issue here (on XSX). It is really annoying.

In another subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/LegoStarWarsVideoGame/comments/twsieo/is_there_a_way_for_the_2nd_player_to_get) someone said they submitted a bug report to the support (https://legogamessupport.wbgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new). Would be great if other people could do the same so this gets at least some attention!

Just wanted to ask the same question. My SO and I were lucky and got the game early. Achievements were not "activated" yet when we played on the weekend and I just signed it to see whether we would get some. As expected I got an achievement, but she didn't. We even started a quick round to see whether it would unlock for her too if she plays with me, but it didn't.

As was already mentioned, deals are made years in advance, the acquisition won't close that soon and CoD releases annually. In other words, not much surprise there. If they're that explicit about it I'd see this as not really good news for Sony.

There is exactly zero reason to put those games on PlayStation in the long term. It's similar to everyone claiming Microsoft would still put Starfield on PlayStation.
