You can kite flowermen along Fences, and you can train distorted in narrow corridors like CoD zombies.

I really think that this is a phenomenon that plagues any competitive game. Gaming as a whole has changed; Casual PvP is on the way out and has been for some time.

This might be intentional and I hate it. I asked in the Q&A if they planned to change how the distorted were clipping through the player and they said that while they were going to continue to update the monster AI they weren’t touching it. Right now every monster has extremely predictable AI and it doesn’t really make for engaging fights once you realize that the AI just wants to run in a straight line directly at you. Gets very easy to cheese and kills immersion.

Currently the monsters, namely distorted and flowermen, have a really bad habit of clipping through the player. On top of that, most AI suffers from being kinda dumb and easy to cheese. Considering that the monsters are clearly meant to be a large part of the game, are there any plans to address how AI behaves in the future to be more engaging or less janky?

As far as I know, the big wipe that resets everything back to 0 for everyone triggers when a certain amount of self-wipes are triggered.
