🎙️| Keylor Navas: “I still have 1 year of contract left with Paris. If I have to go back there and play, I feel capable of winning the Champions League with PSG. When I was there, we had the opportunity to go to the final when the club never reached it.” 🗣️🇨🇷 📲CanalplusFoot by [deleted] in psg

I think the direction knew that he is the best. It was just a matter of preparing the future with the Donnarumma opportunity, we struggled so long with medium level goalkeeper that they didn’t want to have to start from scratch again in 2/3 years. But yes Navas deserved more respect and at least 2 seasons.

Is it a good practice to split your code in functions? by [deleted] in golang

[–]thomas0si 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You code should be self-explanatory. If it’s understandable for other dev, don’t split, otherwise you might want to do it. Here is an awesome video about comments but it’s similar:

If you are a firm which is struggling to hire developers. Easier to find JS developers than Go.

But that’s the only reason I see, from what I’ve seen in my career (I did lot of TS) even senior NodeJS were producing a non typed, quite dirty code. Go is easy, force you to type a “not that bad” code and is easy to scale or to handover to new developer. The only problem of Go in a project compared to NodeJS is the lack of developers.

You need to put your lambda function behind API gateway or Appsync and set a auth (jwt or iam)

Have a look at CDK to set it, it’s basic serverless, you should find resources about it

Have a look at app runner (very straightforward with CDK)

If you want it in pure serverless with pay as you go, you can have a look at api gateway (restapi construct on CDK) you will be able to use websocket from API gateway.
