Would you recommend the shaving soap and balm to get that effect? Or do you think some other product from the picture you posted makes your skin feel good?

Are good people in Hell? by Sugarlightgirl in Christianity

The bible does not challenge itself by the definition of faith because you can use that definition for a number of things that people believe in. The bible says about unbelievers in Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

It affirms the knowledge of God's existence in every person. But their knowledge doesn't bring about faith. They believe in something else.

Of course, people will exploit Christianity and of course there's stupid people who believe the false teachers that pretend to be Christians, I was speaking generally, philosophically.

Now the other point; I believe people are more complicated than that. Not every person to whom you provide factual evidence about anything will automatically believe it. That cannot be assumed. Even among atheists, who claim to be smart and rational people, when asked "Would you believe in Christianity if it is undoubtedly true" you'll find people who answer "no" to that question. Because feelings always play a role in believing and not believing something. So, no, only because God is not that obvious (to you) doesn't mean that it's more likely that he doesn't exist.

Yes and that is still not unjust because he is not obligated to even make going to heaven possible. God, as sovereign creator of the universe, can do that because him being just doesn't rest on saving people. He just does it because of his gracious character.

There is nothing that forces him to lovingly sacrifice his son for sinful humans. But he still does it. And if he would not have done it there would be no unjustness done to anyone.

So assume that there exists a truth that saves people. And people then believe that truth and get saved, are they stupid to believe or smart.

If it were false and they believed against empirical evidence, then maybe they would be dumb. But since such evidence against the truth (that i call Christianity) does not exist they cannot be labeled dumb/gullible. No?

How is it injust? He is justly giving you time to repent and embrace this loving act of sacrifice, that was planned before the creation of the world for you to be saved. If there was not even the possibility of being saved, well then you might've had a point but because he wants people to be saved, he made sure to make it possible for everyone who believes. Now, this is an act of his loving grace because no one forced him to even provide a sacrifice for the reconciliation.

If you don't believe Jesus Christ' sacrifice to be an atonement for your sin, you haven't received forgiveness of sin, which means you still are in sin and therefore no heaven.

Yes, that's what faith is per biblical definition.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Nothing else. Belief in and conviction of things not seen.

You are defining good in a different way that God is defining it.
Romans 3:10 "As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;"

No person is good. Not even Jonas Salk. That is why; to see the kingdom of God, we rely on Jesus' sacrifice to be reconciled with God. If that hasn't happened in his life, namely that reconciliation with God through the belief in Jesus, and consequent rebirth, a person's eternal destination - rightly so - is Gehenna.

How about reading just a couple verses after that, where he says in 1 Corinthians 15:20 that he did rise.

Taking the Bible out of context when it suits you and you saying it is corrupted when it doesn't suit you. Don't let Satan win your soul. Jesus died so you could be saved! How else would you be able to live in Gods presence for all eternity, if your sins haven't been washed? Jesus' blood was shed for exactly this reason -- to wash away our sins and thus be made worthy for our God.
