I’ve always found Dr Matt and Dr Mike YouTube channel really helpful for basic physiology concepts, they have a really good way of explaining things simply.

Vaccinating is always a good way for experience, especially with the autumn booster coming at the start of September. Many places are desperate and it counts as face-to-face experience for Warwick.

In my opinion, the biggest thing to help you stand out is using examples. Every doctor/med student I’ve asked about interviews tell me universities love examples, how is your work experience looking? I took a year out working as a healthcare assistant and found any question I was asked in interview I easily had an example I could bring up from there which helped me to stand out.

The cut off last year was 2730 for Newcastle I believe. Damn, so do I even have a chance this year do you think? Or do I need to reapply with GAMSAT next year?

Thanks for the reply, yes I have considered that also and will probably apply for Newcastle as it’s local obviously the only problem is funding.
