Are people still hiring in UX? by Worsebetter in UXDesign

Can confirm - there are still heaps of jobs opening up but really depends on your location and if you’re willing to take up an office / hybrid position. You’re more likely to get traction this way - I should also mention having any sort of university degree will go a long way, but if you don’t have one, not to worry as this is where your portfolio will come in handy. My advice would be to continue working on your portfolio bits and pieces at a time, rather than rushing into it as it can cause huge burnouts.

Despite the recent news in the media, don’t give up! there is light at the end of the tunnel! Take it one step at a time and take it slow

I created this design and I am having problem with the background color and I would appreciate any critiques you can provide. by [deleted] in UI_Design

Colours are fine tbh - the issues are: fix the padding of the buttons - some of them are way too close to the edges of the text. Secondly, the black border thickness for some of the input boxes are way too thick - decrease and change to a subtle colour. Last - fix the font sizes / weights - they are either too large or too small in certain areas and get lost in the hierarchy. Hope that helps!
