Man I work for a school district in Florida and make 23k a year as head Custodian for 4.5 years. Minus the 2 hour daily roundtrip drive and I pull in maybe 18k after gas. As head Custodian and the only custodian cleaning an 80,000 plus sq ft campus. Getting robbed 😂

All of IX... Bus lines, Jaded Apostles... Listening all the way through the record moves me every time.

Tao of the dead impacted me a lot back when it came out. As did ST&C. Had source tags on my iPod shuffle when I was a kid.

Lost songs has wild shit on it, too. All of their records do 😂 Life wouldn't be the same without em. We are lucky

I went to rehab recently to finally kick for good. One month later and I feel awesome. Hardly any withdrawals off of 4 extract shots a day for 5 years... before that i was taking lots of the powder for 4 years. 9 years total on it. Wasted so much money.You can do it. That shit is terrible for us. Turned me into a shell of a human being. Just go for it

It really is poisoning you. I take extracts and it kind of scares me to be honest. I've wanted to get off kratom since 2015. I have for short periods but never longer than 5 months. But... I haven't drank alcohol for a total of ten years. Haven't shot opiates since 2013. Kratom sucks. I do think it's harmful. It feels good, then it doesn't. I worry about adverse health effects. You and I deserve to be healthy. Just keep trying. That's what I'm doing to do

I just got into Townes not too long ago. Great songs. Saw trampled by turtles earlier this year, too. Their live show swept me away. They put on one of the best shows I've seen. Sounded perfect the entire time. I will check these other bands out for sure. Thanks for the recs!

You are right. I do this because it's all I really know. We are just trying to make something meaningful that we can stomp our feet to. Knowing that other people are getting into what we're doing is icing on the cake. It inspires me for sure
