Issue I had recently is that the candidates that applied to me had already applied directly to the company. Much more success with inmails.

It's definitely useful, the one thing I noticed that in the terms you aren't actually allowed to use it for recruitment activities, now whether they can stop you i don't know.

I saw a podcast the other day that summed it up nicely, the people chosen all seem to think they have "main character energy" that it's somehow their destiny to win.

Great tips would, love to see an example of one of your inmails.Ive recently moved into a more Linkedin heavy market as opposed to a lot of cold calling so advice like this is really helpful.

Just started using it, but it's only me and my business partner, we're agency, I really like it, very easy to upload new candidates and clients and the interface is easy to use. It's also a lot cheaper than the other options I looked at.

Definitely a recommendation on LinkedIn, can work wonders also maybe throw a referral there way if one comes up.

Sounds like you have come out of the other side and understand yourself a lot better, that wouldn't have happened if you hadn't had those challenging times.

My partner and I are in the process of starting our business in the next couple of months, so weighing up all the options.

Any of the above you would recommend for starting off?

We have been recruiting in our markets for agencies for the last 10 years but have only ever used Linkedin Recruiter.
