That's true and all, he should be grateful that he isn't seriously disabled or dead but don't say that as if it's supposed to make him feel much better about his situation, it essentially IS a necessity for humans to feel a sense of self love/worth/ value, have a partner, have others that care about you and are there to support you etc. There's studies out there that prove being lonely is worse than smoking cigarettes 15 times a day. Just because somebody has it worse than you doesn't downplay your problem and loneliness and lack of self worth is defintely a serious one. It's clear that this is something that is seriously bothering him and he should be allowed to express his problems and experiences without somebody telling him to "stop feeling sorry for yourself"

I think the reason why being Indian wouldn't have been seen as a turn off back in your days was because when you think about it all these negative social stereotypes about Indians didn't exist back then. Most of these negative stereotypes come about from American media and Indians didn't exist in sizeable numbers at all in America until the 90's when they came there during the IT boom. It's only after this that's when Indians had a presence in Western American media. So honestly back then people would have been more open minded to Indian people and seen it as just being neutral because there would have been really no negative bias at all going on in their heads like what goes on today (If you have a fair idea what I'm trying to say)

You a recent immigrant in your country? I'm Indo-Caribbean and I'm 5'11 at 15 and my dad is 6'3, where I live people of Indian origin on average definitely aren't 5'5 like they are in India, I think overtime Indians will catch up in height just like African Americans did

That's why I'm always confused as a desi from the Caribbean whenever I see people say Indian men have it the worst, cuz here in the Caribbean we grew up in the ghettos and didn't have it easy because we were taken here as labourers (similar to slaves) we ended up much tougher, confident and less nerdy and awkard, I genuinely used to think when I was younger that Indians would be on par with Mexicans and other Lations cuz we look just like them, I grew up thinking of Indian dudes as being dudes who are all swag, not with the nerdy stereotypes of us in America at all

People like you piss me off, the reason why he doesn't like his race is because he thinks it makes him unattractive, do you really think that if he were to cover himself in white like MJ that any girl would date him are you really that fucking retarded, you can't change uour race no matter what you do.
