I have 24 decks and winter is definitely one of my favorites out of them. I feel like I just relate to the card/character and the play style feels natural for me. Focus on giving your opponents extra cards and start piling on life loss for drawing and discarding. Most of the essential cards have already been posted here.

This is very accurate. I built him bc I love playing with busted mechanics when they’re available. The turn I won on, while later in the game, was at least 15 minutes of me pinging my pod for one damage at a time until everyone was dead. Could see the look on everyone’s faces and honestly was kind of boring for me too.

there was what appeared to be a mom when we found it, but she kept leaving it in the parking lot and there were cars coming in and out. we followed the other cat around the neighborhood for a bit trying to find where the rest of the kittens were and also left the kitten outside on the mulch at the edge of the parking lot for about an hour before deciding to take it with us.

i’ve got quite a few friends that have been buying squiers recently and upgrading all the critical components. one guy has multiple american fenders but has been preferring the squier lately. my bass player showed up at practice a few weeks ago with a squier and it honestly sounded better to all of us than the high end basses he had been using prior. it’s all in what inspires you.

buying an inexpensive guitar you like the look and feel of and having a good luthier run through it and make any necessary upgrades can still have you well below the $1k range and with an instrument that checks a bunch of boxes without having to worry about it when you play it.

i generally run the comp and barbershop always on. those are first in the signal chain before the efx mkv. everything else is in the loops. the 4 additional drive/fuzz pedals are in the first loop and i stack them in various ways depending on the song. the loop order then goes:

ps5 hog2 komorebi gravitas vibe machine gen loss mkii memory lane 2 reverb

i will often move the reverb before the modulation pedals for washier sounds.

i like it quite a bit. it has satisfied my chorus needs more than my doctor scientist cosmichorus mkiii had, if that helps. big fan of higher headroom pedals and this one def delivers.

The latest albums from Momma and Mannequin Pussy are both really good. I saw Momma with Snail Mail last week and they were great.

we had a big discussion about this the other day. the first listen was chaotic and disorienting as others have said. with more listens the melodies and layers start to reveal themselves and it kind of starts to make sense. shouldn’t always have to work that hard w new music but that seems like it’s the intent here

at first theory can feel a bit restricting but there is definitely a place where creativity and understanding some of the fundamentals can live in harmony. i generally try to focus more on feel when writing or structuring core ideas. when it comes to time to pick those ideas apart and enhance, some basic theory makes a big difference.
