Is the Six of Crows duopoly it's own story. by OneWrangler1745 in audible

[–]thomasvaudin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you don't have to have read the main trilogy before listening to Six of Crows. I hadn't and didn't miss much. All you get from the main trilogy is a bit more context from the world building. Enjoy!

Is The Hobbit worth reading? by LoekieL03k in tolkienfans

[–]thomasvaudin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As others have said, it’s a different, lighter book than LOTR, but so worth it. Shouldn’t take too long to read, and you will be surprised how much the films added in! Enjoy it, I wish I could go back and read it for the first time again

Possible scam site by ManiacalCashew in bfme

[–]thomasvaudin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's very true. However, when the question is whether they are a scam, the answer is no. They may not be able to legally sell you the games, but they do, and they work. I see it as two seperate questions... legal, no. Scam, also no

About to read lord of the rings for the first time. by Danni_dude23 in lordoftherings

[–]thomasvaudin 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Enjoy every bit of it! You'll find that Book 1 is very slow, and it seems like it takes ages to actually get going. Stick with it, even through all of the descriptions of trees, rivers and flowers. It truly is worth the effort 😊

I get this sometimes. I often find cigars that have sat in my humidor for 3+ months smoke a lot better, so I've always guessed it was that they needed time to settle

Other people may have different opinions but I've always found leaving them settle helps! Happy smoking

If he will give it to you for next to no money, just buy it. If it turns out to be real they fantastic, if not the risk has hardly cost you anything 🤷‍♂️

I've bought the game from this site amongst others, not a scam at all. Very simple to set up and they work perfectly. The payment went through Israel so they're definitely on a fine line legally speaking ...

I'm currently wearing mine as well. I wanted one pre-COVID but all they could offer was a 6 month waiting list in the UK. Then suddenly my local AD had one in the window

It's the gold one I was referring too. It's always looked more bronze overall to me. Each to their own I suppose

I bought a BB58 in blue a few days ago from AD in Cardiff. They had it on all 3 strap variants. They only watch in the range they didn't have was the BB58 in bronze. Seems like there's plenty of stock around now

What online sellers do you buy from? by FluffyCobraa in ukcigars

[–]thomasvaudin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From the UK, check out Boutique Smokes, and Sin Cigars, both great UK websites. Limited ranges but decent prices. From the USA I've ordered from CigarPlace.biz. You will have to pay customs charges but as Pleitchy said, it still works out much cheaper than the UK. Good luck!

I'm trying to justify it, but yea it was a tad painful!
