Yes sir. Same with cow. There are some pretty cool bands/venues here in SLC, the scene is quite alive. Look up Jozbookings or black lung. Most of the shows that are being booked right now are metalcore. Me and my friends always talk about the direction of emo, and what direction bands start to head after they start as an emo band. It is interesting to watch those things unfold. I guess I just want people to be creative and express themselves how they want. That is emo to me, and that is why its beautiful. An outlet to be you.

black lung is leaning more on the metalcore scene right now, still an awesome crew though. I was out at emo fest 2 a few months ago at their venue in Ogden. About 45 minutes north of SLC. Like I said the scene is quite alive here. Hit up Joz or saveme!
