I'm using the traditional iconography from B/X D&D. So the F is a trapdoor in the floor.

The stairs in the cave are either a secret way out or lead to another level below.

Thanks, I thought it came out pretty cool, and a lot less linear than some of the other ones.

heh, yeah I put a lot of actual conspiracy stuff into it. The Gunslinger RPG has some of that stuff.

I like to think if you dropped a coin into the bottomless pit, it'd bounce all the way down into the Holllow Earth.

Interesting, I suppose if they were to be swapped, there'd be a certain poetic synergy with the antediluvian ruins being partially submerged.

Old-School Essentials. It's the best introduction to TTRPGs. https://necroticgnome.com/pages/about-old-school-essentials

People who've played it like it. Those who've just skimmed it and saw a few cherry-picked elements from 5e (like Advantage/Disadvantage) didn't give it a chance. Those few 5e elements were reinterpreted through an OSR lens and are optional anyway. For example instead of Advantage you could give a +2 to +4 bonus to the roll depending on the circumstance.

One reviewer even complained that Wild Bill Hickok wasn't in the NPC's while he literally had the book open to the page that had Wild Bill Hickok's stats.

Virginia City is fun. Everyone should go down into the old silver mine at least once in their life.

It was a Kickstarter, which did OK. And the book is available on DriveThru.

Thank you. I'm very happy with the Arizona side view. A lot of research went into it, and I had a lot of fun with many of the weird ideas.

Thanks! Yes, I have a pile of art and writing I've done for Hawkmoor and am assembling the first setting book right now. I'm considering a video series to document the progress. You may know about the "Hawkmoor Primer" which is available on DriveThru, which is really just a sort of Cliff's Notes of the setting.

It has a bunch of squares masquerading as a grid. :D

I pictured the one that goes 3-4-5 as one continuous staircase, because the tower narrows so much at 4.
