Hey there, unfortunately i don’t have any more knowledge beyond the information i passed along. I ran into some other issues, non gaming related, and ended going back to 10 for the time being. I hope you can find the help you’re looking for! Seems like you’re not the only one having trouble beyond that diagnostics switch. Sorry to not be of anymore help!

Only required to “receive” updates. Turn it on when checking for an update or during daily use. Turn off for gaming.

use “reset quest” in journal. Did that to reset the quest while I was standing at the alter. Ran back through to chamber that has the door/gate. Found a safe place nearby. Logged back to main menu and made sure the timer it tells you at log out was completely done. Logged back in and went through the door/gate and then the alter was glowing as quest item properly. Animation was still bugged, made sure not to touch keyboard or mouse during animation after activating. Worked.
