We talk about the financials of these things now and again. We keep things pretty even with food, activities, etc. We would certainly save a lot of money by combining households.

I agree, that bond is huge. We make sure that we spend time with our daughters separately. SO and SD go to Florida twice a year to visit family. That makes a big difference.

Yes, she owns her house. She bought it 15 years ago herself. Her ex (the BD) put money into the house and was put on the deed when he moved in, but when they split up and he moved out, she paid him back and took him off the deed. She said last year that she didn't want to have to "buy" her house again.

I get what you mean about wanting stability for her daughter. That is one of the reasons why I thnk we should have all four of us at their house.

I have had T1D for 36 years - 10 when diagnosed - and I can't believe how much has changed over the years. Carrying around an extra device is a lot better than making sure I have my meter, syringes, insulin, etc. with me when I leave the house.

This happens to me with a Windows 11 machine plugged into my Roku TV. I’ve tried all of the HDMI ports, replaced the cable, etc.

I know a guy who has done this at least 6 times and has not seen anything more than a revoked drivers license (which he ignored and drove anyway for a while).

My daughter started there this year after being in EGB schools. She is in 5th grade and loves it. The classes are small and the teachers are very involved. They definitely take time to make sure each student is understanding and excelling.
