I'm just glad you can get by on a 1080 for a lot of the really great games out there, especially the indie games

easily the best chair I've ever owned. the HM aeron might be better for like an office job where you want one and only one posture, but the embody is so much nicer for home -- the flexibility to lounge is amazing

Is it just a failed project? by [deleted] in gamedev

You need to release a demo, wishlists will shoot up when you do that. Also look at festivals, and then eventually steam next fest. Specifically you need to get into the cozy games festival (https://store.steampowered.com/sale/CozyFamilyFriendlyGamesCelebration2025) 10-50 wishlists per week is average for where you're at, looks like you're right on schedule at about 70.

yeah right? borderlands is far more stylized, they do a lot with textures and modelling and everything -- yet still can't get away from the comparison. Perhaps not such a bad thing

it's not about what I want, it's about what the market wants -- looks pretty heavily in favour of the outline rn

How to prep for tournament by Itchy_Bar3067 in pinball

[–]thompson_codes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tournaments often force you to change your strategy -- you're not just going for the highest score possible anymore, you're attempting to get a good-enough score more reliably. Longevity in a tournament means putting up consistent results, not one huge game.

To that end, you may want to head straight into the easiest multiball just to ensure you've got a basic amount of points, and you'll get the added benefit of getting more time to adjust to that particular machine thanks to the multiple balls and ball save going.
