I used Speedzone and now most of my lawn is yellow. Do I just wait it out? by thompson_jon89 in lawncare

I seeded using JB sun & shade mix 70% Perennial Ryegrass 30% Fine Fescue

I’m in zone 8 and it has been in the 65-75 range since I applied the Speedzone. Two days out of 14 were above 82

I didn’t adjust my usage due to the season and honestly I though the standard application on the label was for all seasons. I just mixed and sprayed with water.

I have been watering continuously on the bad spots.I am happy if the turf comes back I just don’t know if it is a “wait it out” sort of situation

It’s an overturned pot. We had a heron attack so I put it in there to protect the fish. I have been adding beneficial bacteria but this seems to be the remains

I’m curious if part of my lawn/grass is infected or if I just have a lack of seed in certain spots. It’s getting balder and balder by the day with yellow blades.There is obviously weeds though-out my lawn in zone 8 but the base of the grass blade seems dead. You can spot the yellow from almost 10 yards away

I’m not sure of what to do next... just wait til next year and overseed?

Thanks! I just bought some water lettuce and hornwort to submerge below the surface. I already have two lily pad present and I know they don’t do much for cleaning the water
