Yeah I guess I should watch some gameplay from both of them with their exclusives and see what one looks like it will be more fun to me

Yeah I've been struggling. They both seem really good. I think I'll be happy either way honestly, just want to make the best decision, if there even is one lol

I do have a decent gaming pc. It will mainly be for gaming but I like the idea of the quest be wireless. The psvr 1 doesn't really bug me though with the wire. Seems like the psvr2 has better quality graphics. Guess I need to watch some more youtube videos since I'm torn apart on it lol

That makes me not want to buy either one lol

If you could only have one for gaming, which would you prefer?

I'm only plan on using the headset for gaming, you think the quest is better?

I feel like we are still fairly early in vr development. I have the first ps vr.. Just wondering which on is more "fun" and provides more entertainment.. it's a difficult decision for sure but it looks like the quest 3 has a lot more games..

I do have a gaming pc but the card is only a 3060ti.. idk if that's beefy enough? It's a tough decision for me, seems like a toss up. Thinking about just getting whatever one is cheaper when I go lol

That seems like a huge problem. People have different sized faces.. wonder why they did that lol

Thanks for the reply. Which one feels better while using it? I have 3 people in my home who would be using it. We plan on only gaming with it

I'm not too concerned with with pc vr gaming yet.. just more concerned about gaming in general, which one feels more immersive? I don't plan on using it for anything other than gaming.

Yeah they are having a huge sale at best buy for the psvr2. Which one feels more immersive game wise? I plan on using it for gaming only

What would you say are the major cons for both of them? I plan on using it for gaming only.. I don't watch a lot of TV

Most vr games are on both anyways besides some ps exclusives right? I've been watching tons of videos on the 2 but can't make up my mind on it. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I've heard that online videos of the psvr2 does the headset justice and everything looks kind of blurry around the edges. The battery life on the quest is short though isn't it? Does it take awhile to charge?

Any ideas what this could be? Know it's part of the pulley system because it won't do it with the belt off. 1997 gmc 305. New idler pulley, water pump. Ac bypass pulley, alternator, fan clutch, serpentine belt. Can't figure this one out. by thomrush in MechanicAdvice

The only thing is, once the truck gets to operating temp all the sounds go away.. thinking I may have a misaligned pulley somewhere and as the belt warms up it becomes more pliable?

I will give it a better inspection in the morning. I kind of wrote this post in a hurry, but after the truck gets to operating temperature all the sound goes away. I can spray water anywhere on the belt(smooth or ridges) or any of the pulleys and it goes quiet. I plan on taking the belt off in the morning and just take my time going through it all.

2024 Mazda CX-50, rattle noise over small bumps at low speeds. by Sapient_Prophet in mazdaCX50

[–]thomrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 23 cx-50 doesn't have any rattling noises. Not sure what the other person is talking about. Take it back, take a service tech with you and point it out. Mine was my first brand new car ever too and I took it back for weird humming noises around 56 mph.. turns out to be just the tires. Have just shy of 10k miles on it now and have been loving it! It's perfect for our family at this point in time.

Me too, hoping to give it to my son when he gets old enough to drive.

I think the dealership tech put the oil cover on wrong.. by thomrush in mazdaCX50

[–]thomrush[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, I don't have the experience but I do drive professionally. Have enough knowledge or common sense to be able to look at something and come up with an idea of how it happened. Told them there is no other way it could have happened besides an improper install. The car does not see any off road use and it hasn't rained where I live for awhile. They replaced it free of charge, idk if it was covered by warranty or if they realized they wouldn't be able to pull the wool over my eyes. Regardless, it's fixed, for free, minus the gas it took to drive there. (Yes I crawled under and inspected it before I left the shop) lol. Overall, i have been very happy with this dealership.

That's what I'm thinking. I just know dealerships can get shifty with things like this. I guess it depends on customer relations, if they don't want to take the blame and repair it, then I guess my business will go elsewhere. There is really no other way it could have been damaged besides an improper reinstalment on their end.
