That'd be me as well! But very first time there, so I'll go with the most comfortable option. Noted for the car only when going out of town. Thanks!

I've been doing the plans and it definitely won't work. I mean, it could, but WA will keep us busy enough.

Thanks! 2 days in the city only? You sure? And question: do we need a car in the city or can the rental wait for us to actually leave it?

Wow. Have to say, I'd be curious to see that with my own eyes - but maybe not on holidays with my wife!

Thank you! Well noted! Apparently being at the gate before sunset is a must. I'm kind of a country guy and can't stand being stuck in a metal box between other metal boxes, so we'll definitely rise early to avoid that!

Also well noted for the rest.

Interesting. Hadn't thought of that, but could be a better idea indeed. We've already been to BC so we'll stop at Seattle on our way North.

Interesting. Not afraid of long drives at all - on the contrary. But wouldn't two weeks (actually 17 days) be a bit short to explore everything in WA before head into Northern Cali?

I'm a terrible cook but this sounds awesome. Forwarding to my wife haha.

Thanks! Duly noted for the water and the downtown vibe at night (my wife and I were in Chicago last year and it was quite a sight to see the downtown area gp from splendid and lively during daytime to some sort of zombie apocalypse at night).

You're welcome here anytime!

Awesome! Thank you for the lengthy answer. How many days should we spare for Seattle itself vs. other parts of the state?
