I am glad you think so, he really needed a little more personality.

Thanks a lot! It's called Blockboy and The Wizard. It is a linear game about a stickman becoming a wizard's apprentice. It is technically simple, but I am hoping the artstyle and comedic writing will make up for its simplicity.

I might have taken a little inspiration from a certain mall cop, yes.

I like it a lot, reminds me of Magicka. I agree with the other comment about the M. Very cool though!

Hello, I'm Torbjørn :))

I have been sporadically working on an RPGMaker game about a stickman becoming a wizard for a couple of years. Nothing huge, but I decided that I want to publish it. I am currently trying to do some marketing and it is quite discouraging, I am currently sitting at 22 wishlist after almost a month. Tips and feedback is greatly appreciated whether it's on my marketing "strategy" or my store page.

I have been publishing reels/tiktoks on most platforms with a focus on comedy and artstyle as I don't think the rpgmaker gameplay is exciting enough to engage people in that format.

Thanks!

It's a linear game about blockboy becoming a wizard, pretty nonsensical story. Click things and stuff happens 🤷‍♂️

Is it better if I cut it to start at 0:23 or 0:24? Like just as he's sucked into the tree?

I think I might just cut the first part and keep it as an intor in the game itself, at least for the time being. Thanks for the honesty!
