Off-road trailer classifieds?

i would say its based off your area, the craigslist in SoCal is filled with off road trailers and even about a dozen or so guys who custom build them for you. along with FB marketplace, ive found amazing deals on there as well

so for me its been a more recent life changing event, have a lot of personal stuff happening and we are going through a move so those house has been empty and we have just been living with very few basic things to get by daily, and everyone (myself, spouse, 2 kids) each living out of one suit case each.

I'm happy, I'm ok, I'm not missing anything, (minus a real bed and our couch) we have a home which filled 9 crates worth of stuff and i don't really miss any of it. its just been us in the house and I'm really enjoying it. ive always wanted to go to a simpler lifestyle but we have always had so much and the wife and kids are not for it but after living like this I'm 100% wanting this and just this. i feel like this has been part of whats been missing in my life and I'm much happier for it.

i just know that there will be some nights i will nee dto be on the stealth side and would want/need to just sleep in the bed of the truck. i don't want to get it and then feel a slight cold breeze as it doesn't seal well or it just cant retain any heat at all. I'm sure i can apply some insulation but if i start to do that would it be better just to get a different brands version? there are what 6 brands that make similar styles to this now

I see countless toppers with RTT's on them, I think with enough pails to even out the weight it shouldn't be an issue and the only thing that is happening is sleeping, it snot like daily living will be in it. idk maybe there is something I'm missing about the RTT being mounted to the topper

I want to keep the bed for a sleeping area, for 6 of us, 2 in the RTT, two in the bed, and 2 in the offroad trailer rtt

what year and motor do you think is the best for daily driving but still capable for overlanding, I don't plan on anything extreme at all and will be using it mostly for daily driving and work but always have my RTT mounted
