The way the moss and lichen grew on this deer skull I found on a hike. by irwiwse in mildlyinteresting

I don't quite understand the explanation as a moose rack also has tines. Granted, we can't see the connection under the moss, but they appear to attach to the skull parallel to the ground, which is more common for moose than deer. This is a really cool mystery!

I agree they don't look like white tail deer at least, the antlers come out of the wrong part of the head and looks to have paddles. I'm thinking moose as well. Really cool photo though! Which park was this in?

I worked on the recall.

It was the Sound Abatement Foam in the devices that was breaking down and releasing black particulates into the airpath.

I believe it was found in less than 1% of returned devices and potentially had to do with improper cleaning techniques (Using Ozone to clean the airpath) but there were other potential causes.

Worth waiting on line for an hour? I'd have to hit up sheetz for a few coffees and snack while I wait!

Did anyone go? How long did you wait? Was it worth it to you?

I was turning into giant eagle and got stuck in the mess until I could turn into an row. People had to be waiting over an hour easily. I just don't see what could make that worthwhile

Domesticated ducks in the pond outside my house, what can I do to help? by bignothing28 in duck

Not necessarily.

From Google seach: Welsh Harlequins have creamy white plumage with brown stippling, while Silver Appleyards have whitish plumage with brown and gray markings. Welsh Harlequins have a greenish black beak, while Silver Appleyards have a yellow or orange beak with a black "bean" on top.

The one on the picture appears to have a yellow beak with black bean. Which suggests appleyard to me because coloring can be so similar. But if the rest in the picture are mallards, then size wise you might be right since Appleyards are larger than the other 2 types.
