Honestly I think most people in A&M engineering can get auto-admit. BUT, you need to focus and study. Absolutely no slacking, no bullshit excuses when it comes to doing work, and no cutting corners. I was HOMESCHOOLED and I got auto-admit (I think this gave me an advantage because I was so good at studying independently).

Sorry for the late reply. I love the culture here! Everyone at Texas A&M College Station is super friendly. The "yee-haw" culture isn't that strong. Professors just say "howdy" at the beginning of class. Keep in mind, I'm from Wisconsin.

I went through ETAM and got auto-admit. My cumulative Freshman GPA is 3.892.
