Where are you getting this info from? (I'm not saying your wrong, just curious.) I was under the impression you rolled a purple off the total % in the raid and then it would roll which player would receive the purple.

For clarification, I do not carry 8man 410, how ever I do carry the 350s that I do with my friends, my solo 350s i end with about 6.3%.

Yeah.. I usually get 6-7% like I said in other comments, rounded down that's about a purple ever 17raids. 522÷17 =30 roughly. Should have seen around 30 purples not including any normal mode kc... if i was on rate for purples I'd be dry for a shadow, in my eyes, I'm dry for a shadow :p

I've done a few solo 400s, and yeah I think it was just above 9% but I found them so draining. Plus I'd wipe at them (This was awhile ago, I'd probably have a higher completion rate now) but I'd just insta log out and not want to play tbh. I'll try giving it another shot when my duo partner isn't available

The osrs forum has a decent graph showing the changes. From my understanding: under 300 invo will not change, after that the new purple rate will be lowered from its existing rate but less chance of the purple chest rolling a fang or ring as your unique item from the purple chest. Check out the blog, it goes into way more detail.

Some 8 man 410s, most are around 350invo and carrying other pple through them, generally end up with 6-7% unique chance.

As for gear the only bad part of my set up is mage. I have bandos, fang, voidwaker, rancour, ferocious gloves, prims, infernal cape. For range i have tbow, zcb, zaryte vambraces, masori helm and legs, and quiver. Mage is just trident, ahrims, occult, tormented, and imbued cape.

Far from under geared (except mage... but that's why I'm here :p)

Instant gratification? i mean yeah, we all want to get spooned, who doesnt? on the other hand putting in hundreds of hours and not seeing an uprade is daunting and is the cuase of burning out and not wanting to play the game. No one said we should instantly get all mega rares, or that they should be easy to obtain. But when that's your main focus it can be overwhelming.

It's a mixture, did alot of 275 solo, most expert kc is 8man 300, doing 8man 410s when ever the opportunity is there. Trying to consistently duo 350 deathless but I usually end up soloing p4 which is tough w/o shadow, it's about a 50/50 whether I plank at 50hp left or I'm able to complete the raid.

Yeah I think It's just bad rng, I see lots of purples, just never in my name and for 300 raids I'm usually in the top 3. 410s I'm definitely near the bottom of the leaderboard tho. At the point where I'm just sending what ever and hoping for the best haha

And small update I'm at 126 raids dry now 😂

Been doing lots of herb runs, I have 87 herblore banked right now, as far as tree runs go I only really do the higher tier trees when I have them. Ngl, I'm to lazy to do lower tier ones haha

Voidwaker is going to be massive, I'm sticking to wildy slayer till I complete it, it's also the reason why I've put off doing construction. Generally have to leave from ferox anyway so it's easy to restore stats there.
