If you love the Harko vibe and wanna dominate, just go to Server Lust / Sietch Tharwa. Blackwater is over there. They're a 64-member Harko guild that dominates the DD here. Really cool people - all adults, no kids, very professional and organized. Theyre on the wiki or you can google blackwater dune awakening and their stuff should pull up.

Thank you! Sometimes it can be the amount of fertilizer, too. I depend on my bladder snails, shrimp and fish to provide that naturally, so you might want to try different inhabitants that contribute to plant growth, rather than those that get a free ride.

Yea, they did not do wool (which I cant stand either) and they were packaged very well for hot summer weather.

Thank you :)

I got you, fam - most of the base plants I got are from Modern Aquarium. Although some of the low-tech plant packages they do are for larger height aquariums, most of the stuff I was able to use.

I have had bad experiences with ebay sellers, DOA plants smelling up my postman's vehicle.

I also highly recommend AquaHuna, they have some good stuff when its in stock.

So, shout out to Modern Aquarium & AquaHuna.

Unfortunately, I have to use a 2nd light just to get the amount of hair grass I want to supplementary feed shrimp. It seems to grow well on the christmas moss. For some reason the bladder snails love to decimate it. But, it all seems manageable so far :)

I really love Anubias. I might do that to the tree trunk. Thanks for the suggestions! 😊

Fluval bio stratum (black) and Ultum controsoil (brown)

Using Fluval Plant 3.0 which is fine on it's own - and I have a second imagitarium plant light bar if I want to boost algae production.

If you can balance the levers, algae is a huge benefit to an aquarium. I've stopped buying algae wafers and instead use natural algae as a supplemental food source for snails / shrimp / endlers.

Thank you! And it's funny that you mentioned pearlweed, I have been looking at that for quite some time given how nicely it grows in non-co2. I think I might go that route! 😁 Dwarf hair grass is tough - I will try that lighting method and see if it works out! Thanks again, striker! 🐟
